The quality of the boba is excellent. Whole family members have been pleased with the vegan ingredients and great refreshing flavors of Organic Hibiscus Rosehips and Premium Jasmine Teas, as well as the strong taste of classic premium black tea. The Boba pearls (absolutely delicious) and tea its self is very high quality. I would repurchase it!

I have purchased 2 different boxes of Locca Bubble Tea Kits. It was for my son’s birthday party. “Boba Concept:)” They enjoyed a lot. We have made more than 25 drinks with each box. There are 3 different teas in each box. Some of them are organic teas. It is Vegan which is great for us! There are also recipies for each tea and boba. We have also made our own art by using different flavors like caramel and strawberry syrup. Also we have made salted cream as topping for boba teas. I think this box would be a great gift too since it comes with really nice packaging. Very satisfied, highly recommended.

This feature of Bubble Tea (a tapioca ball gourmet drink) with 3 different teas and recipes really surprised my 'Doubting Thomas" son. To his great surprise the Bubble Tea he had tasted years ago on oriental eating place in Orlando, Florida he didn't like. Since I didn't get a kit for myself I can only tell you what he said.
"We just finished our 3rd Bubble Tea and all of them were really good. I didn't like Bubble Tea when I first tried it , so I didn't drink it; but this was good !"
If I can get that type of praise for what I thought was an inventive Birthday Surprise for him... I say "you should try it" . Going to get a kit for myself now!

The recipes are on individual recipe cards that are easy to follow. The 3 tea flavors included are each unique, delicious and, the quality of the tea is high. The bubbles are easy to make and have the perfect texture! Set aside a good bit of time as, it takes over an hour to make the bubbles. We made too many and, they kept well in the fridge! We made the syrup as instructed and added almond milk. We used the bubble sized straws included and, it was just like getting one at the shop! This is definitely a fun project to do with the kids or, right before company comes.

I bought this kit with the intent of having the fun of Boba tea takeout at home. It was super tasty, just like what I would usually buy. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I really like the hibiscus tea! The boba took a long time to cook, so I would recommend starting early, but it was worth it when it was done.

This boba tea set is fun to do by yourself or as a family activity with tweens/teens. Makes an awesome & impressive gift! I made this with my 10-year-old niece, who loves boba tea as well as kitchen "experiements." She was so excited to see how this stuff is made. All three flavors of tea are excellent. Instructions are printed on notecards and are clear. Boba — tapioca "pearls" — are packaged securely, easily rehydrate, and are very tasty. The set comes with enough boba to make 10 servings of tea, as well as eight individually packaged plastic straws, which we will be reusing for smoothies and such. You do need to supply your own cups and any milk you'd like to add. :)

These are really tasty high quality tea. I gave some to my father in law and he actually asked me where it's from! That's coming from an old man who drinks tea allll the time. I do enjoy the tea cold with my stevia and splash of cream. Price seems to be bit up there but it does come with everything you need to make yourself some boba milk tea at home.

I got a few of these boba tea sets. Hibiscus is usually my least favorite tea, but all of the boba tea sets are amazing, and the hibiscus is really good. I think if you're on the fence, pick a tea you normally like and go with that variety, but I do think you'd be safe branching out and trying one you normally don't like. The tapioca pearls make a difference. The packaging is giftable, makes a lot.

I got this for me and my daughter, we both love boba tea. the tea is great, she loves the flavor as well. It is easy to make. I am not as impressed with the boba, it isn't bad, but we were expecting the more liquid spheres that you get at the boba shops. They taste OK, they are just def different, and made out of tapioca I believe. there is a lot of variety in this kit, and it is packaged well. the kit comes with straws too, which is great. what a fun kit to have.

I first made up a double simple syrup made with a mix of white and brown sugar that I had on hand. When I had a small group over, we made some tea and a portion of the boba. We enjoyed it a lot. I stored the leftover boba in the fridge and it is funny tasting if you eat it without microwaving it for a few seconds first. Anyway we had them with left over tea and it was still good. I have the remaining dry boba in the freezer and I think I will send them to the next family party this weekend. It is more fun in a group. It is a nice kit.

I've been noticing the boba tea trend recently and decided it would try it out and hop on board. The kit was very good-looking and came with recipe cards to help users get their tea done right. The tea took a lot longer than I thought that it would, but the end result was fabulous. The taste of the different teas is immaculate and smooth. The boba pearls are very delicious, but take a long time to make and are difficult to get right. I was able to make multiple servings from this kit. The thick straws are perfect for slurping up the boba.
All around, I strongly recommend this for any tea connoisseur.

You are paying almost $40 for this because you are paying for an experience. In fact, I suspect that more food manufacturers will start to provide boxes like this in order to help us get through the pandemic.
This will take a little bit of time, but you'll end up with a fun, flavorful fancy teahouse experience. It's actually not that expensive when you realize you will end up with about twenty or so tea drinks.
This package comes with three different types of teas--Hibiscus and Rosehips, Jasmine, and Black. You also get 8 black Boba straws and Boba.
The instructions are easy to follow, and the results are quite good. This would make a great gift. It could also be the beginning of a family tradition.
I have always wanted to try Bubble Tea, and I never imagined I could experience in the comfort of my own home.

This gift set is a nice introduction to making your own boba tea. It has all the supplies you need: tapioca pearls, tea, straws, and recipe cards to tell you what to do with it all. The tea and tapioca both seem to be of very nice quality, and the recipes directed this first-timer (me!) into making a very passable beverage.
My one small complaint is that the recipes direct you to prepare the entire batch of tapioca all at once, even though it warns you it's best used within a few hours. I made one-sixth of the recipe and that was sufficient for all five of the people in my house to get a glass full of boba tea. The rest of the tapioca is in a jar for next time. I can't imagine needing the whole amount unless I was hosting a big party or something. For most occasions a smaller recipe is much more appropriate.
I also searched on Amazon and found that you can get similar quantities of tapioca and tea outside of this gift set for about half the price. This isn't exactly a good value buy for the experienced boba tea maker, but for someone new to it the kit helps. It's nice as a gift for that reason.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of this bubble tea kit. It comes with pretty much everything you'll need except milk. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. The Boba is vacuum sealed for freshness. There are 3 different tea varieties, all sealed in individual resealable bags - organic Hibiscus & Rosehips, Jasmine tea and black tea. They come with recipe cards so you know exactly what you'll need and how to prepare the tea. The kit comes with 8 individually wrapped Boba straws as well. It is packaged in an eco-friendly flip-top carton box with recyclable shredded paper.
So far I have tried the black tea recipe. It takes half an hour or so to prepare everything. The whole family have fun preparing it. It is delicious, and tastes very much like the one I get from the local bubble tea shop.
Overall, I'm very happy with it. It is fun to make your own bubble tea at home and it is delicious. The ingredients are great and the recipes are easy to follow. This is a great kit to try out as a family. I would recommend it.

My daughter loves Boba. But getting it daily at the local Boba shop gets expensive. This kit gives her about 24 glasses of Boba. Also, the flavors in this particular kit are mild. She loves it!
